Nigeria: Firm Calls for Entry in Furniture Competition

IN discharge of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, a firm, 10 Furniture has instituted and called for entry into a competition tagged "The Innovation Award" for youth with bias in furniture and interior design.

A statement from the company said entrants expected to apply are those who could showcase their creativity in furniture and interior, create any piece of furniture from coffee tables, to desk chairs and such furniture that can be used in either commercial or residential spaces, expected to proffer solution to an existing problem.

It added that entry closes on Friday, May 29, 2015.

The statement added that the award is aimed at promoting the raw, untapped talent among the youth today through this competition is also considered a platform that would inspire and motivate the youth in the design industry, showing them endless possibilities of design and manufacturing in Nigeria.
