The programme
offers employees access to comprehensive healthcare, free annual health checks,
smoking cessation programmes and dental services.
Furthermore, the
2,400 workforce in Dundalk and Blanchardstown can also benefit from an on-site
gym, restaurant and café, free exercise classes and healthy eating options.
Last week PayPal
won a prestigious Chambers Ireland Corporate Social Responsibility Award 2015
at a ceremony in Dublin, the 'Excellence in the Workplace' award.
PayPal's
European operations in Dundalk and Ballycoolin Business Park, Blanchardstown
are integral to its international
business, which serves more than 169 million active accounts across the
world.
PayPal also plays a
major role in the local community by supporting many businesses and charities
in both areas.
Speaking about the
Corporate Social Responsibility Award, Louise Phelan, vice-president of
PayPal's Global Operations in Europe, Middle East and Africa, said: 'It is a
huge honour for PayPal to receive this award in recognition of the benefits we
offer to our teammates.

Founded in 1998,
PayPal processed 4 billion payments, of which 1 billion were made on mobile
devices. It is available to people in 203 markets, allowing customers to get
paid in more than 100 currencies.
